I was originally registered w/ Von & Ricci to run the 5km National Geographic Run at MOA grounds. But they didn't arrive and thank God my KB friends were there. Though they were to run for the 10km which is why they wore a black shirt. Rad fetched Aileen & Kim at their houses and I waited for them to fetch me at the waiting shed of Shopwise.
I actually saw Xandra Bernales, an MA blockmate of mine in college. There were a few celebrities who ran - Yael Yuzon (who no one even recognized him), Maricel Laxa w/ her daughters (her kid was shouting, "my mom's finished already & she was pointing at this flushed beautiful woman w/ blue shades), Ilac Diaz (who I guessed to be one of the ambassadors for the event). Ilac kept on welcoming the finishers and saying "Thank you for running...blah blah".
I checked the timer and it was 32mins. but because I queued for so long, I'm guessing I arrived at 31mins. This marathon was the most tiring of all! It's like an endless road and I kept on saying to myself, "malapit na matapos...wait asan na finish line?...ang tagal naman!" I kept on whining in my head, in addition to the constant sniffing I do because of an existing cold I have.

We got free multivitamins and a Granola bar from Nature's Day at one of the booths there. We took lots of pictures. Aileen, Rad and I went to Flapjack's to reward ourselves a fulfilling breakfast! But it was too much fulfilling that I failed to finish my food! It was really a fun morning.
