poems made out of the blue

with an hour to spare...I've written these to shove my blues away......

Child by the lake

Once there was a child who likes to dip her feet on the cold and murky waters of a lake. She raises her toes above the water, one by one, checking if they’re still complete. Oh no, the lake is not infested by some carnivorous fish or plant. It just became a hobby for her to come here after going home from school.

No, the child isn’t lonely nor is she playing with some imaginary friend. She waits for a little toad that looks so peculiar and once hopped on her shoulder and gave off a very foul smell.

Now why the hell is she waiting for this toad to come? And do toads really fart? Well, I don’t know too. End of story.

Filter your lips

Spitting, fluttering bees

Once landed on his knees

Sickening and tiring foes

Won’t stop to poke your nose

Biting words she loathes

His pride as dirty as his clothes

Pause and think what you say

Or it will be your dismay.

I Wonder

I wonder now, I wonder why

I wonder why I didn’t make you smile

I wonder why I pushed you away

I wonder how hard the ways you made

to make yourself stay

I wonder how fast you fell in love with me

I wonder how long you’ve waited for me

But should I still keep wondering?

When we’re both done waiting?

Happy New Year!

Blast the Fireworks Boom!

Let out the gunpowder fume

Jump your feet up the ground

Com’on enjoy the sound

Say hi to strangers, bye to foes

Make amends, that’s how life goes

Celebrate with fam’ly and friends

It's another great year to end.
